Monster is her name and makeing great Cookies is her game. This elderly 39 year old gal says she loves to rider her bike while cooking with her brother and sister and the Team (Note: maybe she takes on a little to much??) A graphic designer by trade at the world reknown Tetro Design, she has also decided that she is married. She comes from a running background but followed her siblings into Triathlon in case it was a better sport! Forgetting to unclip after stopping on a perimeter ride and rolling thru the ditch has to be her most embarrassing moment (note: and the sport of Triathlon's in general). Most memorable moment was her flat in the Kenora Sprint, then her spare had a leak, then a wheel lent to her had a flat, (note: then somehow her helmet flew up into the tree branches). Her biggest motivation in the sport is trying to beat Coach Swiper (note: it'll never happen). Prancing about for an hour or so in her bathing suit during a race turns her on! Spectating others in spandex should be a sport. When asked if Swiper beat her in 2007 and if he would beat her in 2008, she got all suckypoo and listed all the male reasons why he beat her then proceeded to claim that in 2008 she would beat him in the pool and on the bike (note: ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaah)
2008 Goals- Stay injury free, break 1:20 on a Sprint and place, try an Olympic
2010 Goals- Race somewhere exotic and go fast!

Swiper is his name. Eating unattended food is his game! This young Pisces at 43 could very well remain the only non-swimming fish in life. As a Professional Shipper/Receiver he figures he leads a pretty uncomplicated life now! His most embarrassing Triathlon moment cant be named but his 2nd most was showing up for a race with only the big clunker shoes used for painting the fence and doing the race anyway! Most successful Triathlon moment was setting a personal best at Ironman Coeur d'Alene 2005 after finally figuring out the real training! Least favourite Triathlon part of training now is...nothing...he enjoys the pain! At the 15km bike point of a race he is thinking "please..no flat tire..please". When asked if he had a chance at beating Swipes this year he said "Again?"
2007 Goals- Another personal best at Ironman Coeur d'Alene and PBs in a couple Standard races Long Term Goal- Build the Tri-Force Team to a 10-20 person Team

Kranks is his name. Flexing big arms at single Ladies is his game! At 31 years of age, this baby and Scorpio is a professional Engineer by trade. Most embarrassing moment was having a fellow competitor at Riding Mtn yell out to him to stop Kranks from swimming totally out to sea. Even the safety boats couldnt stop him! His most successful moment was actually making it back to land! As a result, the swim is his least favorite part of training but he still does it. At the 15km point he is wondering "where is Swiper" and so you would assume his answer to "Can you beat Swipes this year" would be "yes" but he blubbered something on about "old and slow at 43"....so I just cut him off.
2007 Goals- Swim fast, outperform on the bike, lots of Sprints this year and one Standard Distance for sure, maybe a 1/2 Ironman at year end just to say he did it! Long Term Goal- One Standard Triathlon in an Ocean swim just cause it would be coool! And to never give up in the middle of a race till retirement time! And find a foxy Triathlon Girl..about late 20s..early 30s?

Yogi is her name. Looking good is her game!! (hubbies input) and this Aries is a Professional Marketing and Sales Guru for GWL. A long time Triathlete, her most embarrassing moment was falling during the run portion of a race, just as her future husband yelled back to her something about "old woman, cant catch me..." Her most successful moment was making the 97 Manitoba National Triathlon Team and finishing the 98 Ironman Canada race! Although she has become an animal on the bike, it still qualifies as her least favourite part. At the 15km portion of a race she is visualizing herself as fast and faster!. When asked if she would beat Swipes this year she was heard responding.."I'll decide at the finsih line...!"
2007 Goals- Make Provincial Team, sub 5:30 Half Ironman, unmentionalbe goal, and cheering on her Husband and Daughter at their races. Long Term Goal- Ironman Hawaii
